Wingly's procedure following recent events surrounding Covid-19

Government announcements all over Europe have resulted in Wingly taking the decision to put all flight sharing activity on hold until further notice. Here is an update on the situation at Wingly, along with some advice and recommendations for our pilots. We strive to update this page regularly.

What measures have been put in place?

Different governments have implemented different strategies and measures. However, what they have all agreed on is that In order to combat the continuous outbreak of the virus, social distancing measures must be implemented and respected. The severity of the measures differ depending on the country, however the same principles apply.

What advice does Wingly give?

Here at Wingly, we have decided that if you have flights planned during the quarantine period, we request that:

You contact your passengers ASAP in order to postpone the flights to a later date.
If you are unable to reschedule the flights, that you cancel the flights once the passengers have been informed. For information on how to cancel a flight, click here.
You ensure your passengers that they will be fully refunded, or that their gift cards will be extended and ready to use at a later date.

Will the website still be fully functioning?

Yes, the Wingly website will remain functioning throughout this period, which means that passengers will still be able to send you booking requests.

Should you wish to prevent any new bookings, please use the Wingly availability calendar that will block selected dates, and will apply to all of your displayed flights. To learn how to use the calendar, please click here.
We also encourage our pilots to use this time to work on their Wingly profiles, and ensure that all flights are posted and ready for the warmer weather, when hopefully everything returns to normal.

Remember that protecting yourself is also protecting others around you. Hygiene remains a priority, hence simple measures like washing your hands and avoiding contact with people at risk are very effective. If you do have the slightest of symptoms, please don't forget to contact your health care professional who will advise you on how to proceed. Do wear a mask and gloves and isolate yourself in order to limit the spread of the virus.

N.B. Whilst we've closed our offices for the safety of the team and are now working from home, we remain available at and +447708405306 should you need to contact us.
